Description

Another shot taken with the JST observatory, and heres some explanation about the galaxy:

NGC 1365, also known as the Great Barred Spiral Galaxy, is a magnificent cosmic structure located in the Fornax constellation, approximately 56 million light-years away from Earth.
This stunning spiral galaxy stands out for its distinctive barred spiral arms that extend outward from a luminous central region. At the heart of NGC 1365 lies a supermassive black hole, which plays a crucial role in shaping the galaxy's structure and influencing its surrounding environment. The gravitational forces generated by this black hole contribute to the formation of the captivating barred spiral arms, creating a visually striking celestial tapestry.
One of the notable features of NGC 1365 is its intricate dust lanes that weave through the spiral arms, giving the galaxy a textured appearance. These dark lanes are believed to be rich in interstellar material, fostering the birth of new stars. The interplay between star formation, stellar evolution, and the gravitational dynamics within NGC 1365 makes it an intriguing subject for astronomers and astrophysics research.
